Can
you imagine having this product on your desk? This product
could be very cool on your desk if you do any type of data entry.
You see it is a totally wireless number pad for your computer. You
can place the wireless receiver any place on your desk and then pick the
most comfortable place on your desk to place the keypad. I have
personally tested this product entering order numbers into the shipping
computer and I can tell you it certainly increases my productivity.

The Keyboard - Take a look at the
photo above. It has a pretty standard looking keyboard.
Please notice the "BS" key. Now you can tell all your friends
that you have a keyboard with a "BS" key. Okay, I better let
you know that the "BS" stands for "Backspace" not what you may have
been thinking it stood for. The backspace key is actually one
of the best features of this keyboard. It allows you to
correct mistakes without going back to the main keyboard.

Disappearing Receiver - Next time
you lose your receiver, please check the back of your keypad before
calling the IT department. You see the wireless receiver
actually stores quite nicely in the back of the keypad. Next,
please notice the ID button. You will need to press the ID
button when you first hook up your NumPad to the computer.

Retractable USB Cable - Ok, don't let the sight of a
cable confuse you. Yes, the wireless NumPad is completely
wireless. However, the USB cable is for recharging the
batteries. Now I will attempt to explain the use of the above
components.
-
Wireless Receiver - You need to plug this into your
computer. You can plug it directly into your computer or
you can create the above configuration. The only purpose
of the above configuration is to add a little more range to your
receiver.
-
Retractable USB Cable - You need this to recharge the
battery. One end plugs into the computer the other end
plugs into the NumPad.
-
Useless Dongle - Ok, you really don't need this
little thing. It is used in the picture above to create an
extension cable for your Wireless receiver. The only
purpose of the above configuration is to add a little more range
to your receiver.
Great
for Laptops and Desktops - Most desktop keyboards have a
built-in number pad, but think about it. That number pad is
attached to a bulky full sized keyboard. Now the wireless
NumPad can be placed anywhere on the desk or off the desk as long as
you are not too far from the receiver. This really makes a
difference. Some people like the NumPad top and center on the
desk. Others like to put it off to the side. Still
others like to kick back in the chair and place the NumPad on their
lap. The point is that you can place it anywhere you like.
-
RF
wireless - You do NOT have to point the NumPad
at the receiver. It uses radio technology that reaches the
NumPad regardless of the direction it is pointed.
-
Convenient "Back Space" key
- Allows users to quickly fix typos without using
the main computer keyboard. Very important feature for all
data entry
-
Fully Independent Number Lock
allows laptop users to use the Slim Line without changing
some of the letters on the laptop keyboard into numbers.
This means you won't have to toggle the number pad between the
Slim Line and the laptop keyboard. Very important to
laptop users!
